Important Dates and Information
Meet the Teacher Dates:
Please note: There will be no carpool on these first two days of school.
- Monday/Wednesday/Friday Students: Friday, August 21st, from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
- Tuesday/Thursday Students: Thursday, August 20th, from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
- Five-Day Students: You may attend either Meet the Teacher day.
First Days of School
Our first days of Friends in Christ will be Tuesday, August 25th or Wednesday, August 26th Please note: There will be no carpool on these first two days of school.

Bad Weather Policy
FIC follows Frisco ISD school closings. If Frisco ISD is closed, FIC will be closed. If Frisco ISD is on a 2-hour delay, FIC will be on a 2-hour delay. Be safe!
Admission Forms & Registration Link
You will be emailed a copy of the Admission Forms after you register. The forms need to be completed and returned to the office.
Safety
FIC buildings are locked after drop-off and all visitors must check-in at the front office. We utilize both an exterior and interior security camera system.
Background Checks: FIC staff are selected carefully and required to complete 24 hours of training per year. Extensive background checks and fingerprinting are conducted on each staff member.
Updated Safety Protocol:
- ALL doors will remain locked during our normal operating hours. Staff has badges to get in and out. Parents will be required to show the carpool tag to enter the building and sign in at the office if you are picking up early.
- All children will participate in carpool for drop off and pick up. Extended friends will need to text the staff upon your arrival to gain entry. (See updated carpool map)
- Our security cameras will be updated to give us better visibility at all of our doors.
- Parents will be allowed to attend special events (parties, performances etc.) however a security officer will be onsite during these times.
- Improve "Emergency Training" for all our staff.

Sick Policy Guidelines
Please keep your child home if he or she is or has in the last 24 hours experienced vomiting, fever, diarrhea, a rash, or severe upper respiratory problems.
If your child has been exposed to or has come down with a communicable disease, please notify the teacher at once. We will need to notify the other parents in your child’s classroom. At no time will your child’s name be mentioned. Feel free to contact us with any questions you may have.

Carpool/Drop Off Instructions
You will get a color-coded tag with your child’s name on it (at Meet the Teacher) to make pick-up easier. Please read over the carpool diagram and instructions . Please contact us with any questions you may have.
Drop off will be carpool only for all ages. You will have the option to choose "carpool" or "parent pick up" in the afternoon. You will need to tell your child's teacher which option you want at Meet the teacher. This is not going to be something you change daily, but understand emergency will arise and we will adjust accordingly. It is very important for you to read the instructions on carpool (link below).
